Supervisor and Management training

The supervisor training we provide draws upon your team’s existing managerial skills and experience to demonstrate how workplace substance misuse management is no different from handling other misconduct or safety issues. The Supervisor and Management training session runs for 3-4 hours and content can include your selection from any of our content modules.

Additionally, we offer registered training to competency HLTPAT005 – Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing

The competency enables trainees to identify and manage people with drugs and alcohol in their system at or above the cut-off level, along with the following functional competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of how to conduct urine, oral and alcohol breath testing, including preparation for laboratory confirmation testing including chain of custody procedures.
  • Effective management of workplace drug and alcohol testing including the execution of policy and procedures requirements in accordance with relevant legislation and selecting and using the right equipment and consumables for your program.
  • Understand how to execute a program and maintain testing processes of the highest standard.
